Who we are
Kandy Hill Farm, established in 2019 in Kandy, has grown from a few goats to a thriving herd of 250+ high-yield Saanen goats. Our mission is to build a sustainable foundation for dairy goat farming in Sri Lanka, producing nutritious milk while empowering farmers across the value chain.

From farm to community, our model is designed to create value for everyone in the chain. Peanut farmers, who once discarded or burned peanut hay, now supply it to Kandy Hill Farm and earn extra income while reducing waste. Maize farmers provide fresh maize stems, either with corn or after harvesting, which are processed into silage to improve nutrition and extend storage life. Goat farmers, in turn, receive this nutritious feed that boosts herd health and ensures higher milk yields. At the center of this value chain, Kandy Hill Farm collects, processes, and guarantees the quality of feed, creating a reliable and sustainable system. Finally, the wider community benefits by receiving fresh goat milk and innovative value-added products that support nutrition, health, and shared prosperity.
